Find my trees pruning dates

Our regular pruning program keeps trees in public areas healthy, whilst making sure they're away from power lines, street signs, cars and pedestrians.

We don’t prune outside the scheduled program unless a tree is a safety hazard, such as blocking footpaths or street signs. If you notice safety issues with a tree or tree branch, submit a tree pruning request.

Streets in Stonnington are categorised according to the frequency required for inspections and pruning for the trees.

  • Annual streets: 6,000 trees inspected and pruned once a year due to their proximity to power lines.
  • Biennial streets: 21,000 trees inspected and pruned every two years.

We'll let you know of any upcoming tree pruning in your neighbourhood two to three weeks before it starts by dropping a card in your mailbox.

The following map and table show you the pruning schedule in your area.
