Hoopla Clique - Chores
Chores is an action-packed comedy circus performance that tells the story of two brothers who don't want to do their chores and tidy their room.
A storyline we can all relate to, this performance is jam-packed full of silly jokes, cool stunts, acrobatic flips, unicycles, juggling, and the infamous toilet paper gun!
About the performer
Hoopla Clique perform Chores. Hoopla Clique is a team of passionate physical performance artists, musicians and creative/events producers.
Their exploration of matured clown techniques and modern physical styles entangled with live sounds redefines the essence of comedic performance.
Chores was created by Julian Roberts and Cody Freeman, the performers from Hoopla Clique. With over 20 years of experience collectively, these two clowns' exuberant talent redefines slapstick humour and showcases the true value of tenacity, teamwork, trust, and cooperation through physical theatre.

- Workshops are free for parents.
- An adult must accompany children at all events.
- Wheelchair access is available at Chapel Off Chapel events.
- Babes in Arms: Children 24 months and under may attend performances free of charge on the condition that they do not occupy a seat and sit on the lap of a parent or guardian.
- Performances will not be Auslan interpreted however, they include strong visual content and can be enjoyed by deaf, hard of hearing and ESL audiences.
- Videography and photography will take place throughout the Festival.
- Roola Boola will be proceeding as per the State Government COVID-19 requirements for indoor events to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patrons, staff and artists.
