In 2023, we'll be supporting you to enjoy your experience in a sustainable fashion. From your picnic pack-ups and waste disposal to your travel choices.
Food trucks
There will be a selection of savoury and sweet food and drink offerings.
Or bring your reusable plate, bowl, cutlery, and cup, to enjoy a waste-free feast from our select range of food trucks at each event.
Picnics
Make sure your hamper is stocked with reusable cutlery, crockery, straws, and cups straight from your kitchen cupboards.
Along with your hamper, bring your picnic rugs, cushions, hats, sunscreen, cloth bags, and other sustainable picnic items so you can comfortably enjoy the events.
There will be both general waste and recycling bins in various locations around the park. Look out for the City of Stonnington Waste Stations, where council staff will be available to assist you in sorting your waste into recycling, landfill, organic and e-waste bins.
Water stations
There will be water bottle refill stations at all our events, so be sure to bring your reusable water bottle.
Alcohol purchase and consumption
Alcohol will not be available to purchase at the event.
If you choose to bring your own alcohol, please note that these are free family events, and we encourage responsible drinking. People bringing their own alcohol will be monitored by security.

Can I set up a stall or sell at the event?
Neither stallholders nor hawkers are permitted at the event. If you are interested in having a stall at any future Council events, please register your interest on the website. Stallholders are engaged approximately three months prior to each event.
