1 to 31 October - Come and try - Harold Holt Health Club
Active Adults classes focus on maintaining muscle mass as we age, balance, coordination and social connection.
There is a wide range of classes including aqua, cardio and resistance, aerobics and Zumba Gold. Try the state-of-the-art facilities are accessible throughout the complex. Come and try classes in this thriving Active Adults community at Harold Holt and feel the benefits.

Friday 4 October - Let's get waste sorted - Free
Seniors, children and residents of all ages are invited to this free, interactive session to learn what happens to our waste after it goes in the back of the truck. Chat to waste experts from Stonnington’s sustainability team and our organics processor and recycling contractor. Enjoy interactive games, design your own waste truck and plant seeds in compost made from our own food waste to take home.

Meet the crew from the East Malvern Mens Shed and Seniors Rights Victoria for a free afternoon tea where Seniors Rights Victoria will present information in a simple and conversational way on Enduring Powers of Attorney, Advance Care Directives and Medical Decision Making.
During the workshop, participants can identify their preferred choices for an Advance Care Directive and consider who might be the most suitable person to appoint as an attorney or Medical Decision Maker. Free resources including the Take Control booklet will be available.

Thursday 17 October - Follow your food and green waste tour - Free
Stonnington’s sustainability team invite you to join them for a free tour of our food and green waste processor, Bio Gro, at their Dandenong facility. Learn how our organics become compost and after the tour, return to Central Park to see firsthand how this valuable material is being used to help our parks flourish.
You will need to have a good level of mobility (there are stairs on the tour) and wear appropriate clothing (long pants and closed toe shoes).

Thursday 24 October - Duldig Studio and Kinross Arts Centre tour
This experience begins with a guided tour of Duldig, exploring exhibitions at the gallery, studio, sculpture garden and heritage rooms before enjoying morning tea of plum cake and a hot drink.
Then make your own way to Kinross Arts Centre in Toorak for the second part of the tour, where you will see the most recent exhibition held at the gallery. Afterwards stay for lunch (at your own cost) at the in-house cafe.

Curious about how to fix that broken toaster or mend a tear in your favourite jeans?
The City of Stonnington is working with Let Me Be Frank to deliver our new Roving Repair program.
Repairers of textiles, wood, crockery, jewellery and other small items will be onsite to support you in developing skills and confidence to repair these items instead of throwing them away. This is a free workshop.
