What's On

Stonnington Libraries and the Stonnington History Centre are currently closed until Monday 13 April, with the possibility of this being extended. This is to support efforts to 'flatten the curve' of the spread of Coronavirus.

All our programs and events will cease during this time. Our eLibrary is always open with thousands of items available to download, stream and read.  If you haven't already, it's a great time to join our libraries online and we will get your membership out to you as soon as we can.

Stonnington Libraries present more than 600 events and programs each year, for both adults and young people. Many events are free while some will incur a small fee.

Bookings are required for most events. Check individual events to find out when bookings open for that particular event.

In 2020, we will offer new programs, including a chat club to practice English, a podcast discussion group and a Friday book club.

For adults, we offer a wide range of programs and events, including a Summer outdoor events series, books and discussion programs, community-relevant presentations and workshops, craft, textiles and games, technology education sessions, and more.

For young people, we have storytimes, kids art and craftschool holiday programs, a reading to dogs program, Lego® and more.

From now until 31 May, join us for the 2020 Autumn Book Binge, an easy to play game that encourages you to read more and read widely. Learn more and pick up a game card from any of our libraries to start playing.
