Cuddle up and read a story to a furry friend as part of our new literacy program.

With the assistance of a trained therapy dog, children can practise reading aloud and build their reading skills and confidence. Animal-assisted therapy can help create a fun and positive reading experience for children who are learning to read or reluctant readers.

Presented by Patient Paws Animal Assisted Education and Therapy.

Suitable for children who currently attend school, and are aged five years plus. 

A maximum of one booking per child per session is accepted and each booking is for a maximum 15 minutes.

First Wednesday of the month

5 June, 7 August, 4 September, 2 October, 6 November

Please note there will be no session on Wednesday 3 July
