New Programs in 2019

From 2019, the Library will offer a range of new programs, including:

  • Bow Wow Buddies: a reading to dogs program
  • New craft sessions - Hooked on crochet and Phoenix Park knitting circle
  • Harmony International Film Festival to celebrate Cultural Diversity Week
  • Chess club
  • Computer basics: keyboard skills - a six week course to help you gain confidence in using a computer.
  • Live Notes -  Music lovers will be able to enjoy a series of live, intimate and low-cost musical performances in our libraries this year. Live Notes showcases local and emerging talent and features a range of musical styles, from classical and opera to musical theatre and show tunes. Performances will be held throughout the year, please check back for dates and times. On 1 March, classical singers Luke Belle, Kimberley Colman and Christelise de Graaf kicked off the series with repertoire from opera, musical comedy, Gilbert and Sullivan and operetta.
