Based at Harold Holt Swim Centre, our swimming squads allow swimmers of all ages to follow their passion for swimming.
Squads are a great way to improve your swimming fitness and skill in a fun, social environment while providing opportunities to compete in swimming events.
When your child completes the Learn to Swim program at the Harold Holt Swim Centre, they can continue swimming with the Malvern Academy of Swimming.
The Academy offers both competitive and non-competitive squad swimming.
The squad's unique program caters to swimmers who range in ability. Fom post Learn to Swim program through to a national level.
The Malvern Marlins Masters Swimming Club is one of the largest clubs in Victoria. Through competitive and non-competitive swimming, members swim for fitness, friendship and fun!
The club offers five morning and two evening coached training sessions each week and an Endurance (timed swimming) session. Members also enjoy a variety of social events.
To get the most out of squad sessions, a reasonable level of swimming competency is required.
If you are interested in squad swimming but don't quite feel ready, we offer a range of programs that can build your swimming capability and fitness. These include beginner, intermediate and advanced adult swimming lessons. Visit our Learn to Swim page for more information.
