Intro to strength training for women
In support of Women’s Health Week, we’re offering two free "Intro to Strength" sessions at Harold Holt Health Club.
Strength training is important as it helps build and maintain muscle and bone strength, supporting healthy ageing, mobility, and independence.
For women, maintaining bone strength becomes particularly important around menopause. The natural decline in hormones during this time can accelerate bone loss and increase the risk of developing osteoporosis.
These guided sessions are designed for beginners who want to learn the basics of strength training and discover how to make it part of their regular routine.
