Technology Update

During May and June, we’re replacing and upgrading the public computers across our libraries.

We’re in the process of upgrading our public computers with the latest version operating system, security tools and Microsoft Windows 11.

There may be some disruption to service and PC availability during this time and we appreciate your patience while we update the public computers in our libraries.

The public computers will be unavailable while we replace them with new upgraded PCs on

  • Thursday 19 June at Malvern Library
  • Thursday 26 June at Phoenix Park Library

Installation of the upgraded PCs has been completed at the Prahran Square Library and Toorak/South Yarra Library.

Inter-Library Loans

Our interlibrary loan service will be temporarily paused from 1 June 2025 as we transition to a new platform.

It is expected the service will resume in early July 2025 and appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition.
