About the competition

The Design A Bookmark Competition is an annual design and illustration competition presented by Stonnington Libraries to celebrate Children’s Book Week® and creativity and storytelling within our community. Now in its fourth year, the competition invites young creatives who live or go to school in Stonnington to showcase their artistic talent by designing a bookmark for our libraries, based on a theme. Prizes are offered across three age categories: 5 to 8 years, 9 to 12 years and 13 to 17 years, to encourage participation.

Winning designs will be selected by a panel of judges made up of Stonnington Library team members. Winning designers will be notified by 19 September and winning designs printed onto special bookmarks and available to collect from our libraries in October (while stocks last).
