Design a Bookmark Competition

And the winners are…
We’re delighted to announce the winners of this year’s Design a Stonnington Library Bookmark Competition.
Two winners will have their designs featured on a bookmark and each take home a fantastic prize pack of book and art supplies:
- Lucas, age 5, winner of the 5 to 8 years category (prize value $50)
- Ruini, age 9, winner of the 9 to 12 years category (prize value $100)
Background:
The Design a Bookmark Competition is an annual design and illustration competition presented by Stonnington Libraries. Held as part of Children’s Book Week, the competition celebrates creativity and storytelling within our community and offers prizes across three age categories: 5 to 8 years, 9 to 12 years and 13 to 17 years. Children living or going to school in Stonnington were invited to use the theme Book an Adventure! to inspire their own bookmark design.
The competition drew over 60 entries from all over Stonnington and showcased the creative talent of young people in our community.
The bookmarks will soon be available (free) across our libraries.
