Writers, Readers and Stories
Enjoy a range of literary events at HOME or in our libraries, where the focus is on books, stories, writing and reading.
Hear from authors about their books and writing practices, hone your writing skills at our writing workshops or share your love of reading at one of our book discussion groups. Some book groups read a specific book each month and some are open to talking about whatever you have been reading lately.
Check out our annual [untitled] Literary Festival, where we bring together some of Australia’s most-beloved and respected writers, artists and thinkers to discuss a wide range of stories, issues and ideas. Stay tuned and check for bookings as we announce the program this October.
Read Now Book Club
This is a book club for readers who wish to read books from our Read Now collection and meet other readers for lively discussion.

Spaces are limited to 12 participants at each library. A new intake of group members is rotated every six months.
