Beamafilm is also available as an app for your devices and TV. Download the app from the App store or Google Play

The Beamafilm TV App is available to download from the app store on your Android TV, Chromecast, or Apple TV.

Kanopy allows you to stream independent, international or classic documentaries, movies and TV series from around the world.

Stream online or download the app to your mobile device or TV via the AppStore or Google Play Store.

Each month you receive 20 viewing tickets and tickets reset on the first of each month. Each title is labelled with ticket values ranging from 0 – 5 tickets and will be available to view from 48 hours - 21 days, depending on the title.

There are also hundreds of credit free viewing options available including the Kanopy Kids collection.

Getting started with Kanopy

  • Go to Kanopy
  • Add your library card number
  • Enter your library card number and PIN/Password
  • Create your Kanopy User Account by completing the create your account form
  • Start watching films! 

You will also have been sent a link via email to verify your email address which once you click on the link will take you back into the home page directly. Don’t forget to verify your email address.

Already have an account?

  • Go to Kanopy
  • Click on the log in box in the top right of the screen

To watch a film:
1. Hold the mouse pointer over the film and click on the orange WATCH button.
2. Click on the play button in the centre of the film screen. Once you hit Play you will have used the tickets assigned to that title (0 - tickets). 
3. Once you begin playing you can expand the image by clicking on the full screen button at the bottom right of the film screen.


Story Box Library allows children to view videos of Australian and New Zealand storytellers reading children's picture books aloud. Story Box Library also features Auslan interpreted stories and includes short films that feature interviews with authors, illustrators and publishers with most stories also having accompanying activity ideas. 
 
Access Story Box Library online or through the Story Box Library app (AppStore and Google Play store). Story Box Library is a streaming only service and you cannot download stories for later use.

Getting started with Story Box Library

To start watching stories on the web via Story Box Library:

  1. Go to the Story Box Library website.
  2. Select Stonnington Library and enter your full library card number and library password. 
  3. Select a story to watch.
To start watching stories on the Story Box Library app:
  1. Download the app (AppStore and Google Play store) and tap 'Get Started'
  2. Select 'Log in with Library access'
  3. Select Stonnington Library
  4. Enter your Library membership details
  5. Start watching stories

Forgot your password? If you have an email address registered to your account you can reset your password online or contact us to have your password reset.

Creating and editing playlists

You can create personalised playlists in your Story Box Library account.
