The Stonnington History Centre is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the history of the City of Stonnington and the former cities of Malvern and Prahran. The centre is a branch of the Stonnington Library and Information Service.
The centre’s collection includes books, journal articles, photographs, building plans, maps, subdivision plans, rate records, newspapers, research notes, and general local history information.
We run a range of exciting events at the centre including History Matters seminars, Family History Club and exhibitions.
The Stonnington History Centre is closed until further notice because of the COVID-19 situation. We can still assist with research enquiries, phone us between 10am-4pm Tuesdays-Fridays or email us.
