Join us to celebrate the return of the library to the Prahran Town Hall!

The refurbished Greville Street Library has a larger collection, more study areas, public computers, and space for programs and events.

Now it’s time to celebrate with free, family-friendly activities for all to enjoy.

What to expect:

The Greville Street Library will be bustling with free, family-friendly activities for all to enjoy.

  • 10am-12pm Build your neighbourhood in LEGO® with Future Play Lab.
  • 10.15am and 12pm Take in a guided tour of the art on display.
  • 10.30am and 12.30pm Explore Greville Street through the ages and learn about the history of Prahran
  • 11am Enjoy a special Storytime with Mayor Councillor Melina Sehr and Koorie and Jardwadjali / Gunditjmara Elder, Aunty Titta Secombe
  • Browse and borrow from our collection of new books
  • Swing by the Victoria Police & Crime Stoppers booth to get your free license plate screws, tips on preventing theft, or chat with local officers.
  • Receive job skills advice from the Skills & Job Centre Team at William Angliss.

This is a free event and bookings are not required.
