Did you know that we provide a home delivery service for community members who can’t visit the library?

The service offers a free, personalised home delivery of library items – spanning books, including large print and audio formats, magazines and even seeds – for community members who can’t visit the library.

Our friendly library team will work with you to select items on your behalf and deliver these to your home every three weeks.

Support to use eLibrary and digital collections such as eBooks, eAudiobooks and movie and music streaming services is also available.

Am I eligible?

Eligible community members are Stonnington residents:

  • aged 65 and over
  • people with disability, illness or injury
  • residents of aged care facilities or assisted living accommodation
  • socially isolated.

Carers may also be eligible. You only need to be eligible for one of these criteria. If you’re unsure of your eligibility, contact our librarians to discuss.

Call 8290 8011 or email homelibrary@stonnington.vic.gov.au to discuss your needs and register your interest.

Complete the online form to register your interest in receiving a Home Library Service delivery.
