Special Storytimes

During November and December, we’ll be hosting special themed Storytimes during our regularly scheduled program.

Best suited to children aged 3 to 5 years, and siblings are welcome to attend. Children under 12 years must be supervised by a responsible adult.

There’s no need to book your place, just meet us at the library.

Recycling Week Storytime

Join us for stories, songs and activities about how food scraps and garden waste can be transformed into nutrient-rich compost instead of going to landfill, helping create a cleaner and greener Stonnington. Then stick around chat to Council’s Waste Education Team, who will answer your questions about recycling, FOGO and the green bin rollout.

Water Safety Storytime

Join us for a fun and educational Water Safety Storytime presented by our friends at Harold Holt Swim Centre. Find out about the importance of water safety and learning to swim.

Respect Storytime

Join us for stories about respect and equality. In celebration of 16 Days of Activism (25 November to 10 December).

Christmas Storytime

Join us for a jolly good time this festive season! We’ll share our favourite Christmas stories and songs, and finish each session with a fun and festive craft activity.
