Stonnington History Centre Building Refurbishment Works

From Monday 8 June until the end of August 2026, the Stonnington History Centre will be undergoing refurbishment works to improve accessibility access to the building.

Works will include the construction of a ramp leading to the building and pathways around the History Centre and Malvern Library.

During this time:

• In person appointments will be paused
• Phone and email enquiries are available 10am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday 
• Please call 03 8290 1360 or email history@stonnington.vic.gov.au with your enquiries and we will respond as soon as possible
• The Family History Club program will be relocated to Malvern Library.

Other information:

• There will be no access to the gardens
• The return chutes at Malvern Library may be unavailable on certain dates. Please follow signage as directed.
