Stonnington History Centre Building Refurbishment Works

From late June until October 2026, the Stonnington History Centre will be undergoing refurbishment works to improve accessibility access to the building.

Council will be installing a new accessible ramp leading to the building and pathways around Malvern Library and the History Centre.

During the works:

• In person appointments will be paused
• Phone and email enquiries are available 10am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday 
• Please call 03 8290 1360 or email history@stonnington.vic.gov.au with your enquiries and we will respond as soon as possible
• The Family History Club program will be relocated to Malvern Library.

Other information:

• There will be no access to the gardens
• The return chutes at Malvern Library may be unavailable on certain dates. Please follow signage as directed.
