What's Your Story? Writing Competition
What’s Your Story? is a writing competition presented by Stonnington Library and Information Service as part of our annual literary festival, [untitled]: our writers, readers and stories.
The competition is open to Victorian residents. Prizes are awarded for Short Story, Poetry and Creative Writing.

Short story - Adult
For: Anyone over the age of 18 years.
Guidelines: 1000 word limit.
Prize: $500.

Poetry – Adult
For: Anyone over the age of 18 years.
Guidelines: Maximum 40 lines.
Prize: $500.
Winner: Richenda Rudman for Red Cellophane Sky(PDF, 378KB)
Creative story writing - 5 to 12 years old
For: Students aged 5 to 12 years who live or go to school in Stonnington.
Guidelines: 500 word limit. The entry can be fiction or inspired by real events experienced by the author.
Prize: $150 book voucher.
Winner: Oas Kulkarni for The Crayon and the Paper
Creative story writing - 13 to 18 years old
For: Students aged 13 to 18 years who live, work or go to school in Stonnington.
Guidelines: 750 word limit. The entry can be fiction or inspired by real events experienced by the author.
Prize: $250 book voucher.
