ANZAC Day

Stonnington Libraries and the Stonnington History Centre will be closed on Saturday 25 April 2026 for the ANZAC Day public holiday.

Regular hours resume on Sunday 26 April.

While we're closed you can:

  • explore our eLibrary for books, comics, newspapers, movies, music and more
  • drop off your library items via the after-hours return chutes.

Have your say on our Libraries

Our annual library satisfaction survey is now open for feedback until Thursday 30 April.

Tell us what you value most about our libraries and what you’d like improved. Your feedback shapes what we do.

Have your say until 30 April.

Programs and Events

Find out what’s on at our libraries and History Centre. With programs and events happening across the year, there’s always something to do at our libraries.

Meet your Council services

  • Parking Services: Digital parking permits have arrived in Stonnington and the Parking Services team will be hosting free information sessions in our libraries for residents who need extra help joining and navigating the new online ePermit system.
  • The Service Advice, Advocacy and Support: The team will be at our libraries in March and April to answer questions about the changes to aged care. Drop in for a personalised chat between 10am and 12pm on select Wednesdays.
