We’re excited to announce the Greville Street Library is now open!

After five years at Prahran Square, what was the Prahran Library has returned to its home at Prahran Town Hall with the new name Greville Street Library.

The Greville Street Library is twice the space of the Prahran Square site and has more book collections, public computers, study areas and spaces for events.

With the library now open, your favourite programs will return including Stories and Songs, Book Chat, digital literacy sessions, creative workshops and more.

The library is at 180 Greville Street, Prahran and open Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm and on Saturday from 10:00am – 1:00pm.

Save the date!

We’re celebrating the opening of the Greville Street Library on Saturday 11 October, and we’d love for you to join us. All are welcome to come along to our free community celebration.

There will be new books to browse and borrow, a tour and talk about the art on display, a look back at Greville Street through the ages, and activities the whole family can enjoy, including a Storytime with special guest readers.
