Abduction from the Seraglio

Lyster Opera returns to the Irene Mitchell Studio, South Yarra, with a rousing new production of Mozart’s comedy, “The Abduction from the Seraglio”.

When Konstanze and Blonde are taken captive, Belmonte and Pedrillo vow to rescue their beloveds. Planning a daring escape, the four must outwit the Pasha and his wicked henchman, Osmin.

Featuring a local cast of experienced and emerging opera singers, this is a fast-paced extravaganza with some of Mozart's most demanding and exciting music.

The show has been touring and delighting audiences around Victoria.

Sung in German with surtitles.
