History Month tour: A European Modernist in Melbourne

In 1956 the Olympic Games came to Melbourne. As well as sport, we celebrated Australian culture with an Arts Festival and display at the University of Melbourne.

This History Month, visit the Duldig Studio to view the sculptures by Karl Duldig which were on display at this important cultural event. Hear about Karl and other immigrants influential in modernist art and design in Melbourne in the post-war period.
