Have your pet renewal Payment reference number ready
You will need to provide your Payment reference number to renew your registration.
Each Animal Registration Renewal Notice has its own Payment reference number. If you're registering more than one pet, you will need each Payment reference number.
The reference number can be found on your renewal notice. This is not the same as your Animal ID, pet's licence or tag number.
Renew and pay
Renew your pet registration
You can track the progress of your renewal anytime through our online self-service platform.
If you're unable to renew your registration via the platform, you can use one of the other payment methods listing on your Animal Registration Renewal Notice or visit one of our service centres to pay your renewal fee in person.
Renew your registration every year
You must renew your pet registration by 10 April each year. If you do not pay the renewal fee in time, you may be issued a fine.
