The City of Stonnington is moving to a new online service system. There may be delays processing applications during the October transition period. Online payments will not be available from Friday 24 October to Monday 27 October.
If you have a concern about waste or bins in public areas, we may be able to help.
We are unable to assist with waste issues on private properties. If you need to order a new bin or council waste collection service you can request it online.
If you noticed hard rubbish or litter dumped in public areas such you can report it to Council.
This includes:
on a footpath
in a park
in an alleyway
Please ensure you have the exact location and include information about any hazards (such as needles or sharp objects) in your report.

If there is a bin in a park or on a public street that is overflowing or has been damaged, you can report it to us.
Ensure you include a photo and exact location of the bin so we can identify it.

We routinely clean and sweep streets based on a pre-planned schedule. To find out when your street will be next swept, visit our street sweeping map and enter your address.
If you notice issues on the streets such as:
animal or human waste
dead animals
overgrown weeds
spillages of dangerous substances such as oil spills
street furniture
syringes or any other sharp objects.

Abandoned shopping trolleys are the responsibility of the trolley owner to collect. In the first instance, please contact the respective company to report:
