CEO Employment and Remuneration Advisory Committee

Purpose

The Chief Executive Officer Employment and Remuneration Advisory Committee supports the Council by considering and making recommendations to Council relating to:

  • performance monitoring of the CEO, including with respect to achievement of the key performance indicators
  • annual review of the CEO’s performance
  • CEO’s remuneration
  • recruitment and appointment of a CEO, if required
  • provisions to be included in the contract of employment from time to time
  • appointment of an Acting CEO where required
  • implementation of the Chief Executive Officer Employment and Remuneration Policy

Membership

The taskforce comprises five Councillors and is chaired by the Mayor.
