CEO Employment and Remuneration Advisory Committee
Purpose
The Chief Executive Officer Employment and Remuneration Advisory Committee supports the Council by considering and making recommendations to Council relating to:
- performance monitoring of the CEO, including with respect to achievement of the key performance indicators
- annual review of the CEO’s performance
- CEO’s remuneration
- recruitment and appointment of a CEO, if required
- provisions to be included in the contract of employment from time to time
- appointment of an Acting CEO where required
- implementation of the Chief Executive Officer Employment and Remuneration Policy
Membership
The taskforce comprises five Councillors and is chaired by the Mayor.
