What are social scripts?
Social scripts are short guides that show you what to expect before you visit.
For some people – including neurodivergent community members, newcomers and families – unfamiliar environments can feel overwhelming.
Social scripts help reduce that uncertainty, by sharing details about the venue’s facilities, what you may do at the venue, and what sensory stimuli you may be exposed to at each venue. This can include what you may see, hear and smell.
