Stonnington Grant Funding Finder
The Stonnington Grant Funding Finder is a free online service for local businesses and individuals to find available funding opportunities. Powered by GrantGuru, the finder allows users to browse current grant opportunities and register to receive alerts about funding programs relevant to them as they become available.
The grant finder tool also includes grant writing tips and provides access to professional grant writers to support applications.

Precinct Activation Grants 2026-27
Applications for Council's Precinct Activation Grants 2026-27 are now open until Sunday 26 July 2026.
The grants allow five or more businesses in our smaller neighbourhood precincts to deliver a combined event or activity that provides enhancement, collaboration, and economic activity. This reflects Council's vision to be a vibrant and creative city with thriving, unique places and positive economic and sustainability impacts.

Businessr Associations bring together businesses in the community to help grow, develop and promote local business.
As of 30 June 2025, Stonnington City Council has formally assumed responsibility for managing the Chapel Street Special Rate Scheme. Special rate funds will go towards delivering the Chapel Street Precinct Improvement Plan.

Australian Small Business Advisory Services
City of Stonnington supports the Australian Small Business Advisory Services Digital Solutions program to provide targeted mentoring and advice to help small businesses succeed and grow.
Small businesses with fewer than 20 full-time (or equivalent) employees, and sole traders, can access one-on-one sessions and group workshops at a subsidised price.
This service is a great opportunity to learn from experienced advisors who understand your business needs and can help you grow your digital capabilities.
