Brookville Gardens is a popular park situated on Canterbury Road in Toorak.
Nestled between the Brookville Kindergarten and Toorak Primary School the park is a favourite with local families who visit the park for the playground and large lawn area and stay to enjoy a barbecue and the sheltered picnic area.
Since 2020, Brookville Garden has been progressively upgraded with community feedback playing a significant role in finalising concept plans for the upgrades.
In 2020, a new skillion style shelter, expanded barbecue area, more seating and a drinking fountain were added.
And in 2023, we enhanced the park further with more and better park and path lighting, a new picnic setting and shelter near the barbecue area, upgrades to the paving near the barbecue and a new seat placed on the mound - the perfect spot to prop and take in the view.
In 2026, the next stage of improvements will update the popular playground. The community will again be invited to influence the planned changes with feedback to be invited on a concept design that includes a climbing net, balance beams, monkey bars, shades sails and more.
