The size of the oval allows for senior level soccer, and junior level rugby and football, with floodlight for training.
You can also find a playground, public access toilets, barbeque and picnic areas for rest and recreation in this popular off-lead dog park.
Temporary closure
The Gardiner Park sports ground will temporarily close from 11 May for up to three weeks for turf repairs.
During this time no activities can be undertaken on the synthetic turf surface.
The adjacent playground remains open.
