ABC Community Garden

Our garden promotes wellbeing and resilience for individuals, community and the environment in a shared space where we learn, teach, model, research and discover sustainable, productive and creative living. 

 

The garden provides opportunities for all Stonnington residents, particularly those who have limited space for gardening at home. The garden is a space for all residents to come together and to participate in sustainable gardening and local food growing in Stonnington.

 

The whole garden is managed communally, with members gathering monthly to make decisions, plan and work together. Members have unlimited access to the garden anytime. We harvest together, sharing out the produce, as well as offering produce to those with limited food security.

 

We also host events such as gardening workshops, and welcome other community groups to explore sustainability with us.
