All Victorian local governments are required to undertake a Planning Scheme Review under Section 12B of the Planning and Environment Act 1987 within 12 months of adopting a new four-year Council Plan.
A Planning Scheme Review helps ensure the Stonnington Planning Scheme:
- remains up to date and relevant
- responds to community needs
- aligns with State and local planning policy.
This review assesses the effectiveness and efficiency of the current Planning Scheme and identifies opportunities for improvement and future actions.
