The Space Dance & Arts Centre School Holiday Program

Six massive days of dance!

We are very excited to offer 2 weeks of our school holiday program this July. Every day concludes with a fun and informal presentation at 3:30pm for family and friends to show off the day's activities.

4 to 5 year-old group

Hip Hop & Jazz or Hip Hop & Lyrical and play plus endless entertainment for our little dancers.

This program consists of dance, drama and arts and crafts. Dancers will learn fun and age-appropriate dances, while making new friends and having lots of fun! Come along to our fun and informal presentation at the end of the day where these dancers will be performing two new routines that they have learnt throughout the day. This program encourages creativity, musicality and is a great introduction to our classes at The Space.

6 to 7 year-old group, 8 to 10 year-old group, 11-16 year-old group

Week 1

Monday 7 July: Hip Hop, Contemporary, Musical Theatre
Tuesday 8 July: Hip Hop, Lyrical, Breaking
Wednesday 9 July: Hip Hop, Jazz, Acrobatics

Week 2

Monday 14 July: Hip Hop, Jazz, Acrobatics
Tuesday 15 July: Hip Hop, Contemporary, Musical Theatre
Wednesday 16 July: Hip Hop, Lyrical, Breaking

Brush up on your favourite styles and immerse yourself in new techniques!

Each day is packed full of an exciting and varied selection of dance techniques, infused with drama, arts and creative games. Dance styles will include jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, acro, breakin' and a whole lot more! So, turn of those screens and come along to meet our teachers, learn new skills and make new friends.

What you need

All you need is energy and enthusiasm… oh, and comfortable dance or active wear, a water bottle, lunch, and a healthy snack!
If you would like to wear a dress or a skirt, please ensure you wear shorts underneath.
Appropriate dance footwear is ideal, but otherwise runners and socks will be perfect.

School holiday program disco

4 to 10 year-old dancers come and dance with us at our Kids Disco Party on the last day of the school holiday program. This is a chance for the kids to show off their funky moves and to learn some new party dances! There will be lots of dance games, mini dance competitions and more.So, dress up in your rock star gear and we'll see you on the dance floor!!
