Yoga on Wednesday - Yin (Term 1)

Yin Yoga is a deeply relaxing and meditative practice that targets the body’s connective tissues—ligaments, joints, and fascia—through long-held, floor-based stretches.

By holding each posture for 3–5 minutes, Yin Yoga stimulates circulation in the joints and improves overall flexibility and mobility. Beyond the physical, this practice supports the flow of qi—the vital energy that, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, moves through the body's meridian pathways.

Enhanced qi flow helps to balance organ function, strengthen the immune system, and support emotional well-being.

With mindfulness woven throughout each session, Yin Yoga becomes not just a stretch for the body, but nourishment for the nervous system—a deeply grounding and rejuvenating experience.
