Bendigo Street shared zone upgrade

In 2026, we're upgrading the Bendigo Street shared zone in Prahran (adjacent to The Flying Duck Hotel).
Works will commence towards the end of February and are expected to take approximately three weeks.
The footpath on the east side of Bendigo Street will remain open during the works, providing uninterrupted access along Bendigo Street.
Work will start on the western footpath (adjacent to The Flying Duck Hotel). We will reopen the footpath as quickly as possible. The rest of the project area will reopen at the conclusion of works.
Please note, during construction parking spaces within the works zone will not be available.
Once the works are complete we will contact local residents about planting options for the site.
We recognise these works may cause some inconvenience and we thank you for your patience and understanding.
