The City of Stonnington will construct a raised pedestrian crossing on Chapman Street between Percy Treyvaud Memorial Park and Chadstone Shopping Centre.

Fully funded by the Victorian Government, these road safety improvement works will enhance accessibility and pedestrian safety by slowing vehicles and making people walking more visible to drivers.

Construction is planned to start in June 2026 and is expected to take around 6-8 weeks to complete.
