Brookville Gardens/Fairbairn Reserve improvements

Brookville Gardens and Fairbairn Reserve in Toorak is being upgraded with design elements agreed through a program of community engagement activities including surveys and on-site forums.

The park improvements will be delivered over two stages:

New skillion style shelter
New fencing along Canterbury Road
Park lighting
More seating
Drinking fountain with dog bowl
Expanded barbecue area
Bluestone and concrete paved entrance from Canterbury Road
Upgraded path through Fairbairn Reserve
Additional garden bed planting

The first stage, delivered in late-2020, saw construction of the shelter and barbecue area, more seating and a drinking fountain.

The second stage will deliver new paths, fencing, lighting and planting. This is the final stage of works and will be delivered by the end of 2023.
