The City of Stonnington is reconstructing the Edgar Street car park in Glen Iris (opposite the Harold Holt Swim Centre).
Works will commence 23 March 2026 and are expected to take 12 weeks to complete.
During the works the car park will be constructed as two sections, ensuring half the car park will be open while construction is in progress on the other half.
Parking may be available in surrounding streets and Harold Holt Swim Centre visitors are advised to plan ahead.
These works support Council's ongoing commitment to improve local infrastructure and public amenities.
Once complete, the renewed car park will be safer, will function better and be more visually appealing.
