This 10-week course provides an opportunity to develop ecological knowledge, gain practical skills and meet like-minded people.
It’s a great way to boost your environmental expertise while uncovering the wonders of our local natural spaces. The program focusses on the KooyongKoot (Gardiners Creek) and the plants, animals and geology of the areas it touches.
You’ll also learn about the effects of climate change, how to Care for Country, and participate as a citizen scientist.
It’s ideal if you’re a volunteer, emerging or established community leader, considering a career in sustainability or natural resource management, or just keen to learn about how to care for your local environment.
