Friends of Victoria Gardens Inc.

Established in 1987 this community group cares for the heritage listed Victoria Gardens Prahran by working with the City of Stonnington. Our aim is to ensure the conservation and maintenance of the Gardens for public enjoyment now and into the future.

We run a monthly volunteer gardening group coordinated by a Council  gardener. The objectives of this group are as follows:

• To make a community contribution to the care of this historic garden.
• To promote community involvement with the Friends of Victoria Gardens.
• To develop an ongoing relationship with Stonnington Council and community members.
• Building community engagement within the Stonnington district.
• Support Stonnington Sustainable Environment Strategy and Climate Emergency Action Plan to protect and enhance biodiversity, advance community partnerships and foster nature connections.
