At its meeting on 8 September 2025, Council adopted the Stonnington Housing Strategy. The aim of the strategy is to provide a framework to manage the future of housing in Stonnington.
The Housing Strategy will influence housing for current and future residents, in a way that will enhance the City's character and liveability.
The Housing Strategy was developed over stages, including two rounds of community consultation.
Council looks at issues and opportunities, and it examined:
