Twilight Nature Discovery Tour

Step into the world of Stonnington’s nocturnal wildlife on this guided twilight tour.

Explore the creek-side bushland of Malvern Valley Golf Course with a Council horticulturalist. Discover the insects that come alive after dark with entomologist Dr Luis Mata.

Using moth and spot lighting techniques, you’ll see a hidden side of our local environment and contribute your observations via the iNaturalist app.

Bring comfortable shoes, a torch and your sense of curiosity – and don’t forget to download the free iNaturalist app before you arrive.

This is a free event, but places are limited, so book early.

Please note that this event date was changed to 23 November due to stormy weather, so it will not take place during the 2025 Great Southern Bioblitz. You can still contribute your observations via the iNaturalist app.
