Twilight Nature Discovery Tour

Take part in the 2025 Great Southern Bioblitz (24-27 October) by stepping into the world of Stonnington’s nocturnal wildlife on this guided twilight tour.

Explore the creek-side bushland of Malvern Valley Golf Course with a Council horticulturalist and discover the insects that come alive after dark with entomologist Dr Luis Mata.

Using moth and spot lighting techniques, you’ll see a hidden side of our local environment and be guided to contribute your wildlife observations to the Bioblitz via the iNaturalist app.

Bring comfortable shoes, a torch and your sense of curiosity – and don’t forget to download the free iNaturalist app before you arrive.
