Exhibition opening: Exploration by Kay Watanabe

Kay Watanabe is a visual artist based in Brisbane, creating her works through the use of media such as printmaking, painting, drawing, photography, small sculptures and artist books.

She focuses on the relationship between humanity and the environment, utilising negotiations of colour, form and texture. She exhibits in Australia and Japan, and internationally.

Her newest exhibition ‘Exploration’ will showcase a series of prints made primarily through lithography.

The exhibition runs from 6 to 23 May.
