Katherine Wood: Chasing the Light

We're incredibly proud to present Chasing the Light at Manyung Gallery Malvern, a compelling collection of work from the extraordinary talents of Katherine Wood.

Chasing the Light is deeply moving, evoking a sense of hope in an era shadowed by uncertainty. 

In response to the darkness that permeates the world, this body of work turns toward what is luminous—toward goodness, courage, and the quiet determination to keep moving forward.

Anchored in the metaphor of the Fire Horse, a symbol of freedom, vitality, intelligence, and unstoppable drive, the exhibition invokes a spirit of bold action and passionate pursuit. Each painting calls the viewer to follow what sets their heart alight, to move decisively toward personal breakthroughs with confidence and conviction.

The canvases invite viewers into stillness, offering a meditative arena in which to consider their own evolving path.

These works hold space for perseverance, resilience, and growth, acknowledging that fear and resistance often accompany change. Yet within that tension lies opportunity. It affirms that no one is ahead or behind, only becoming.
