Malvern Artists' Society, Autumn Exhibition

Come and see the Malvern Artists’ Society Autumn Exhibition running from the Opening Night starting at 7:00 pm on Friday 15 May to Sunday 24 May.  This event is sponsored by Senior Arts Supplies.

We honour our second president, (1967-70) by naming The Best in Show, The Barbara Peake Award. This dynamic lady was responsible for purchasing and driving the renovation of the building we still use today.   The exhibition Judge is Jo Reitze, a prominent Melbourne based artist known for her vibrant plein air paintings in gouache and oil and specialising in but not limited to, garden landscapes.

The Exhibition will include a wide variety of works including oil, watercolour, acrylic, drawings and other mediums, plus three-dimensional work including sculpture, pottery and woodwork.

Awards will be given in the following categories:

• Best in Show, The Barbara Peake Award
• Emerging Artists,
• Best Oil
• Best Watercolour
• Best Acrylic
• Best mixed Media
• Best Other
• Plus, Highly Commended certificates

Opening hours

Monday: Closed

Tuesday - Friday: 10AM to 3PM.

Saturday and Sunday: 11AM to 4PM
