In March 2026, the City of Stonnington will lift and relay sections of the brickpaved road and driveway adjacent to 17 Myamyn Street, to address ongoing subsidence issues and improve drainage.
Works are scheduled to begin in mid-March and take around one week to complete. Paving contractor, Parkinson Group, will contact 17 Myamyn Street residents two weeks before works commence.
During the works, Myamyn Street between Glenferrie and Mercer roads will be closed to through traffic and detours in place. Access to Myamyn properties on either side of the paving works will be maintained.
This project supports Council’s ongoing commitment to maintain community assets to a high standard.

The brick paved area adjacent to 17 Myamyn Street will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the works and detours will be in place.
There will be no vehicle access to 17 Myamyn Street during the works.
Access to other Myamyn Street properties will not be affected.

17 Myamyn Street residents wishing to use their vehicle during the works will need to park on the street.
Parking permit holders can park in surrounding streets - Myamyn, Adelaide, Bell and Mercer.
