If you are required to carry out protection work, you must give notice to the adjoining owner.
This should include:
- what building work you plan to do
- how long the work will take
- how you will make sure your neighbour's property stays safe.
Your building surveyor will decide which neighbours you should contact. If you don’t know who your neighbours are, you can apply to get their details from us.
