Responsible pet ownership involves registering, microchipping and desexing your pet, as well as cleaning up after pets and walking dogs on leads.
If you suspect your pet or a native animal may have eaten bait, contact a vet immediately. You can also find information on pet or animal baiting at RSPCA Advice, Ask A Veterinarian and Vets On Call.
If you have any questions or concerns, or would like to report a found dog or cat, call our Animal Management team on 03 8290 1333 (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm).
