National Reconciliation Week 2025 – Bridging Now to Next
National Reconciliation Week (27 May to 3 June 2025) is a time for all Australians to learn more about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
The theme for 2025 ‘Bridging Now to Next’, urges us to look ahead and continue the push forward as past lessons guide us.
The City of Stonnington will acknowledge National Reconciliation Week 2025 with a Welcome to Country with Uncle Colin Hunter – Wurundjeri Elder and a special musical performance by Amos Roach – Ngarrindjerri, Djab Wurrung and Gunditjmara man, whose music presents a narrative of healing, told with song and dance. His culture informs the fundamentals of his craft and his music connects people and Country.
The City of Stonnington is committed to making change through Reconciliation and recognises the valuable contributions to Victoria made by all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and will walk together towards a future of mutual respect and harmony.
If you would like to invite family or friends, you can direct them to the link below where they can book themselves a free ticket!
